The Experiences

I have never thought that I would experienced meeting deputy dean and rushing in and out of offices...

As I said in the previous entry that if I fail to fulfill the entry requirement, I have to take language course and I am not allowed to take any kulliyyah subject in the mean time..but one day..

Suddenly I felt like I would have a bright future and I could finish my master earlier than I expected. I heard from Dr. Shah Jani, my head of Quran n Sunnah Department that I could that at least two subjects if I just have to take one skill. And...

The day after, one of my lecturer helped me in graduating me from speaking skill class. It meant everything to me...I just couldn't stop thanking her and praises unto Allah for making me even happier that before. I ate but didn't feel full, my face felt like swallowing when I just couldn't stop smiling...huahuahuahua!!!

I texted my father, telling him this good news and...he last reply asking how did I do it???

I walked to Centre Postgraduate Studies (CPS) lab to register my pre-requisite subjects online happily and joyfully. But then...I felt as if a heavy stone was being put onto my shoulder when I was told by Sis Rafidah that I certainly couldn't register my subjects. I didn't what to do then but I needed to see my lecturer back at CELPAD.

After a short time of waiting and discussing, I was asked to meet the Deputy Dean of CELPAD to solve my problem. The funny thing was when I met Dr. Soleh, I was talking in the mixture of arabic and english languages. Hehehe...WHatever!!

He pressed his tone when he said that 'they' refer to administration wouldn't allow me to take the subjects..however, in the end of his conversation he consoled me that maybe I should try getting a permission letter from my department..YaH0o!!!!

The next morning, an Indonesian sister named Aisyah helped me bringing the ltter from department to CPS. As it was Friday and it was near Jumaat time so I had to ask someone to pass the letter to the Deputy Dean of CPS, Dr. Nasir El-Din. Then, I went back and got some rest...

A few minutes after 3 o'clock, I arrived at CPS Deputy Dean's office. I didn't have any chance to meet him personally as he wasn't in yet. But I met his secretary and she explained us about ou situation.

We could have take the subjects but we need to break the IIUM policy first. How to do it ?? Well, the department need to write a proposal about me and it will be discussed among IIUM senates..omg!! I rather not to... so I took back the letter...
