How to make emping traditionally?
Have you heard of emping? It looks like oats that some of you eat them in the morning. Let's learn how to make it in traditional way. Even though now we are in modern time, do not forget the things that our folks have been doing them traditionally.
Firstly, wash the paddies thoroughly until they are clean.
Put the fire on. Make sure the fire is not too small and not too big.
Prepare the lesung...
Fry the paddies until the sound of pop comes out. Like the popcorn! Don't put too much paddies in it, it is afraid if they won't fit the space of the lesung.
As soon as the sound of pop is heard, immediately put the fried paddies in the lesung and press them hardly until they are flatted well like oats.
