Me, Syahidah, Hakim and AiNoL arrived quite late. We were supposed to gather at Markaz Tarbiyyah Kuala Ibai at 9am, but unfortunately..to be honest, it was my mistake. Huhuhu~
However, we were not the last person to arrive. There were still lots of empty sits waiting to be filled but rather than waiting for everyone else, the event had already started.
Many PAS leaders came to greet all the audiences, also not to forget, a representative from DAP. The event began with recitation of Al-Quran by Ust Abd Halim Zakariah, Arif's friend from DQ. I still remmeber him, such a small yet cute little boy. He got a great voice and became the leader of a nasheed group. He recently participated in Quran competition in Academic Al-Quran in TV9, unfortunately, he wasn't the lucky one. Well, good luck next time Halim!
After a few words from Ust Wan Sukairi as the master of ceremony, my respected T.G. Hj. Abdul Hadi conveyed his speeches. He talked about Islamic history in the Khilafah Umar R.A. How he struggled through a hardship to establish an Islamic administration under his reign. Allah loved him the most, he was poisoned due to his great attempt. May Allah blesses his soul and other four amirul mukminin!
The beautiful event continued with Q&A session. In the beginning everyone nervous and anxious to be the first. However, after a few seconds, a brother stood up and rose a question. Then, the host got to gather a pile of questions and most of them were asked by graduates from great universities, whether local uni or abroad. Yes, that's the spirit! We are the next generation of PAS leadership!
I was so sad and disappointed because I couldn't stay until the end of the event. As a result, we missed all the answers for the questions that can be understood and used as explanations (for the current issues) to our friends and community.
We had to go back due to some circumstances. Thanks to k.Sakinah and another gorgeous aunty (don't know her), we went back with some desserts, even though we didn't have a chance to taste the delicacy main dishes, Nasi Himpit and Nasi Minyak.
