Yesterday I was invited to attend a very nice program conducted by Ma'aruf Club.

Muslim U-Turn... a very marvelous topic to discuss about.

The talk was given by the book writer himself, Ust Mohd Hasrizal bin Abdul Jamal aka SaifulIslam.

Some interesting points to share with my readers:

1. Are we Muslim by inheritance or we chose to be a Muslim? Questioning your faith right now, and you'll know the answer.

2. There was an interesting story told by the ustaz. A non-muslim man had a big problem with his sleeping. One day he went to a mosque in Manchester and there was an Islamic talk. He saw many people slept at the behind of mosque. So he was wondering, how they could sleep soundly on the floor while he couldn't even sleep for a minute on his luxurious bed in his huge mansion. Then, he started to join the talk and he successfully slept. After that moment, he converted to Islam...Alhamdulillah..

3. To be an excellent Muslim, we must abide both rules Shariatic (the rules of Allah) and Scientific (the rules of sunnatullah).

4. " I went to Paris and I found Islam without Muslim and I returned to Cairo, and I found Muslim without Islam.." By- Syeikh Mohammad Abduh.

5. Regarding previous quotation, Ust Hasrizal shared with listener his experience living among non-Muslim and returning back to an Islamic country with a high expectation. He was disappointed with Muslim treatment in maternity ward when his wife was delivering his second child. While back there, when his wife delivered his 1st child in a Christianity hospital, he was treated like the 'father' and was given a 10 minutes religious moment.

I'd like to start reading his books as I've fallen in love with his speech..
