WisH it t0 be tRuE

Last night, I had this beautiful and wished to be true dream. I and my friend Zuriana were planning to go back tu UK. We were already book two one way ticket. We packed our stuffs, checked all important things that we needed to bring such as certificates.

We hadn't told anybody about going back there until couple of days before the day. I called Azam to tell about that, he was worried and I told him that we were going to discuss with Abi about our certificates since it isn't acknowledged by the government of Malaysia.I also told him not to worry because we were used to roads in the UK. We were going to sleep in Sheffield on the first night. Then we were going to Manchester for couple of days and stayed at Kak Ayu's house. After that we would make our way by train to West Wales. Then, he asked if I had had my passport ready? I was truly forgot about the passport...where did I put my passport??

I went home and searched for it, luckily I found it and I found out that it was expired already. I needed to find more money to renew it.

While talking with Na, I had just realized that our flight was landing at Heathrow airport, so we needed to buy a train ticket from London to Sheffield, or straight to Manchester...and I hadn't called any person in Sheffield or Manchester to tell about our coming and we were going to stay for a night.Oh, my goodness, so many things I hadn't done and the day was just nearby.

On the day, I forgot about the time of departure and I also forgot to print out the e-ticket. I just thought that the flight was in the midday. We were so busy finishing things until we were so late. Because of that, I had to call the counter to cancel the ticket and buy another ticket at night.

What a dream...disappointedly, I didn't get chance to dream of getting on the plane...huhuhu

Why am I so obsessed with the UK???

Maybe it was my dream to be there...
Maybe there was where I learned about independance, self- relying and community life...
and many more I learned when I was there...

I also learned how to make my own many with my own attempt. Among places that I used to worked, this place was the best...I also got my chance to fullfill my duty as a muslim when my supervisor asked a lot about Islam. Maybe one day she will get the hidaya, ameen.

If you get a chance to go to Manchester, or any places in the Uk, I hope you will enjoy everything there... the view, the seasons, the friendly people, the community life, the income, the price and many more.

Feel free to visit this website. There are a lot of pictures of Manchester...

Here is something about CornerHouse, Manchester:

The Cornerhouse Manchester

70 Oxford Street, Manchester. Tel: (Box Office) 0161-228 2463. (Admin) 0161-228 7621.Website: www.cornerhouse.org.The Cornerhouse ranks as one of central Manchester's prime visual arts centres and galleries with its three exhibition galleries, three cinemas, bookshop, video library, café and bar. It is a regular social venue for Manchester glitterati, alternatives and creatives. Popular with students from the nearby Metropolitan University Art School. Good for midmorning coffee and people watching. Formerly a carpet shop, occupying an oddly unique triangular site, it stood empty for years during the 1970s when nobody knew what to do with it, and owing to its Grade II Listed Building Status, it could not, (fortunately), be demolished. Its regular exhibitions, often controversial and usually fairly avante garde, include a wide range of contemporary paintings, sculpture, photography, media and installations. It also operates a regular programme of events and talks on related visual arts topics - usually, a talk will be available to accompany every exhibition. A good bar, with regular photographic exhibitions mounted. Open all year round except Bank Holidays. Free entry. Centrally placed opposite the Palace Theatre and Palace Hotel on the corner of Oxford Street and Great Bridgewater Street, alongside Oxford Road Station, and within a few hundred yards walk of the Metrolink stop in St Peters Square. Regular bus services stop opposite (to Didsbury, Rusholme, University, Northenden and most destinations southwards) from Piccadilly Bus Station.
