Hi my readers, how are you doing? Today I have a chance to write something in my blog. Last night, Terengganu's MB had announced a holiday for Trg's citizen according to Terengganu triumph in SUKMA 2008. So I asked an excuse for not attending my HEP monthly meeting last night to go home this morning so that I'd appear at Trg airport to pick my youngest brother up from Kuwait. Can't wait to see him!!
While waiting for the plane landing (hehe...my house just near the airport) I'm telling you about my recent trips with my fellow workers and students.
In the trip committee, I held a post as a person who was in charge in taking names who would like to join the trip. Firstly, there were a lot of students who wanted to join it but they canceled it at last with reason wanting to go somewhere with their family. On the day of departing, there were 17 empty seats, but praise to Allah we still got enough money to pay for the bus rent. It was about thousands... we could find any cheap bus rent because they were all assigned for recent SUKMA.
However, the trip ended up so well. I felt a bit refreshing after the trip. Able to empty my mind, forgetting all the problems about work. On Penang Hill, I met a family from Holland and had a picture taken with them. Here some of my conversation with...
"Hi, may I have a picture taken with your daughter?"
The wife asked her daughter in Holland.
"She is shy. She doesn't want."She said.
"Owh, so you're shy. Just a picture with me...please"
She still insisted and held her mum's hand tightly.
"It's ok then. Ermm, what about you son?"
The father called his son's name because he was away in the toilet.
The father asked the same thing the mum was asking her daughter and his son also turned up to be a shy person.
"Ok..last request. What about a photo with your family?"
"Ok" They agreed with my request.
"Say cheese everybody!"
"Thank you so much. Where do you come from?"
"We are from Holland."
"It's this your first time in Malaysia?"
"Yes"
"Do you come straight from Holland?"
"Yes"
"Ok...thanks again and see u."
"Bye"
It was so great to speak with the language I'm longing for it after 9 months in Malaysia.
